She’s baaaack!  I haven’t done a Mine on Monday in a long, long time as I have had so many lovely client sessions to blog.  Well I am finally getting caught up and a little tired of all the complaints from family and friends about no Miss P. photos.  So we did a little shoot at my parents’ land in southern MN.  This is probably my favorite vintage dress in the little collection I seem to have started.  I can’t help myself when my favorite Etsy vintage shop posts these beautiful and often hand made vintage pieces.  So I’ve been snatching them up hoping Miss P. will wear them and also my little clients.  Miss P. has been growing like a weed this summer and so I knew this was my last chance to photograph her in this dress before it became a shirt on her.  So here she is…my wild and crazy girl with ants in her pants.  I could do a whole other post with out takes as she likes to make faces at the camera now and be all wacky.  I have to admit I almost got frustrated as I had my own ideas about how I wanted this shoot to go.  But I took a breath and remembered what truly matters.  To capture HER.  Silly faces and whatever else she comes up with (including her posing with her hand under her chin, lol!).  Apparently she is just like I was at her age.  And wouldn’t we all love to be 4 again and be so totally free with ourselves without a care of what anyone thinks of us.  I know soon she will become self aware and the silliness fade away.  Breaks my heart to think about it.
