Hi Jess. I was told about you from Stacy Vitalio, one of my flickr friends. I told her I was from the Twin Cities area and she mentioned your name and how incredible you are. She was right. You are incredible! And then I read this post…. I am so touched by your adoption story and your faith in waiting for this baby that God has hand picked for you and that He will make known to you in His perfect timing. I am just getting started in my photography journey and recently took photos of a homecoming of an old friend of mine with their baby they brought home from Uganda. Such a blessing for me to see that tiny little bit of their journey and capture it, I can’t imagine the journey that you are on. Looking forward to following you and your gorgeous photos and to see what comes of this journey.

I am special, why you ask ? Because I am adopted ! I have always been told that but do you know what I think, I am lucky, it’s my mum and dad who are special, because they love me unconditionally.
Adoption is magical, beautiful and inspiring, I can see the amazing love that you have for your daughter and I will add you to my regular prayer list and ask that God put’s you on the right journey to find the right child who can enhance your family and be blessed by you all too.

I met so many people at WPPI, but if my memory serves me correctly, we had breakfast with a group of “Sheye’s gals?”

Oh! My heart just skipped a beat… or two!
My best friend, sister in law and another gal are going to Uganda to work in the orphanages at the beginning of April… They are going with a pastor’s wife (out of the Denver area) that has been to Uganda many, many times and has adopted multiple children from there….

They are delightful, and so similar to your own style. I have been thinking the same thought, we have never had family photos taken, I have 3 kids 5, 9 & 11 I must make it a priority this year !
